“Pan-African Humanitarian Award: Young Achievers Award on Peace Advocacy”

Pan-African Humanitarian Awards Advisory Board has named Zakaria El
hamel as the winner of the 2017 Pan-African Humanitarian Award for
Global Impact and Community Development.

He was identified in consultation with World Leaders Forum in Dubai
and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

This award category is for the bravest and most daring, as well as the
most strategically sound and forward-looking young advocate in Africa
with measurable achievement in humanitarian practices, peace advocacy

and socio-economic development within Africa. The conferment is based
on El hamel ‘s exceptional contribution and persistent efforts to
develop and promote the attainment of peace, integrity, democracy and
good governance on the African continent. This noble pace has set his
institution apart as a role model for others to follow. Zakaria El
hamel will be awarded under the category tagged:

“Pan-African Humanitarian Award: Young Achievers Award on Peace Advocacy

Mr El hamel is the founder of Youth for Peace and Dialogue between
Cultures, headquartered in Morocco. He is also Ambassador and
President of Youth for Human Rights International Chapter in Morocco a
nonprofit organization founded in 2001 by Dr. Mary Shuttleworth, an
educator born and raised in apartheid South Africa, she
witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of discrimination and the
lack of basic human rights.

The purpose of YHRI is to teach youth about human rights, specifically
the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and inspire
them to become advocates for tolerance and peace. YHRI has now grown
into a global movement, including hundreds of groups, clubs and
chapters around the world.

The Pan-African Humanitarian Summit/Awards is an annual event
conceived to identify and give proper recognition through the
conferment of awards of excellence and distinction to individuals and

who have distinguished themselves as brilliant exemplars of society or
who have contributed towards the attainment of peace and respect for
human life and dignity

The Summit/Award will draw Participation of 200 highly recognized
leaders in various sectors of industry, government, business and
humanity 37 African countries to identify the barriers to peace
in Africa and provide a holistic and multi-dimensional approach to
sustainable peace and development in Africa.

The summit which will include workshops, conference sessions, panel
discussions and award presentation will birth the Launch of The Peace
Begins with Me Campaign. This campaign amongst other features will
involve the African Union’s vision and commitment to open dialogue
aimed at bringing peace and development to the continent.

The previous editions have been held in Accra, Ghana (2015) and
Dubai, UAE (2016) with over 40 awardees 27 different countries to
include former Heads of State, Royalty, Celebrities as well as
Business Leaders around Africa.

El hamel is to receive the award on 12 November 2017in Tanzania. The
award ceremony is to draw participation 26 African countries, 14
humanitarian organisations around the world, and 12 media

The ceremony will be live stream to more than 30 million viewers
across the globe.

The Organization Pan African Humanitarian Summit, based in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, has awarded to Moroccan Zakaria El Hamel, founder and president of the International Association of youth for peace and dialog between cultures (youth for peace and dialog between cultures), the price Pan-african humanitarian on the excellence, religious tolerance and the plea for peace.
The Price that "rewards its many commitments in favor of humanitarian causes" will be handed over to the young Moroccan during a great solemn ceremony scheduled for 17 to 20 November in the Tanzanian capital, and this in the presence of eminent personalities of the continent and the diaspora.
This Prize is awarded by the Forum of the world leaders in Dubai and the United Nations Association of the United Republic of Tanzania. The Organization Pan African Humanitarian Summit underlines the "outstanding contribution" of Zakaria El Hamel at the head of his movement youth for peace and its continuous efforts to develop and promote the achievement of peace, integrity, democracy and good governance".
Other personalities, before him, had received this prestigious awards including the former Presidents of Nigeria and Ghana, respectively Olusegun Obasanjo and John Kufuor, desired Kadre Ouédraogo, former President of ECOWAS, Grace Sanches, President of the network of women in Parliament and the youngest member of Cape Verde as well as the Princess Sikhanyiso of Swaziland and the Ambassador Beatrice Ndung'u, founder of the First Radio online of Kenya.
Appointed Founding of ' ambassador for human rights'' since August 2012, and this in the margin of its activities as a member of various organizations operating for the socio-economic development, including the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialog of Cultures, as well as of the Coalition for the International Criminal Court, Zakaria El Hamel is the president and founder of youth for peace and dialog between cultures, a non-profit organization whose goal is to build a world the young people of different origins and religions could meet to hear and respect in helping their communities.
The young Moroccan who has already received several awards in the field of human rights and world peace has taken part in many Permanent Missions to the United Nations ( UN) knowing that the main activity of the community of young ambassadors of human rights is to accompany the young people of the world in their teaching the broad lines relating to the question of human rights, in particular the component relating to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The International Association of human rights is recognized as a global movement involving individuals, groups, national leaders and associative actors. The latter working for the information and the recognition of human rights, the means for the implementation and the respect of these rights and especially their assimilation for as well strengthen the laws and the texts governing.
